The Independent Republics

Overview

From the lore database, compiled by Indexer from forum posts.

A Koftiar nation (the same species as Koftiar Alwyd). Koftiar ancestors lived in vast tunnels; ~200 years ago the miner Fendwyr broke through to the surface, after which Koftiars slowly settled it. Early clans became "high families" whose rivalries produced centuries of raids and sieges. Present day: active war with night-fighter aircraft ("kites").

Characters

Fendwyr — Legendary miner, first Koftiar on the surface
