Chussen K'IverChekt

The Chunes (vegetarian forager aliens, biologically unable to digest meat, which causes deadly blockages (Discord amendment, request 4ee18e5a, by the IverChekt player; not secret); with tails; litters of "kits"; homeworld Ciolon) arrived decades ago in two crashed craft on an uninhabited corner of Arach's north coast; the hulks became the cores of their two cities, OHakni (industrial, on Lake Kakochi K'Setho) and OSetho. Other places: New Martinsburg (OMeko's lodge), Chus(sen) K'Entime (principality; frontier), Fort Entime, Fort of Kansa the Mechanic, the Lobwood, Chekthead (Temple of the High Engine), Bansard (CDF airbase). Government: Representatives appoint the OMeko (foreign affairs); religious orders (Order of Eloise the Negotiator, Order of Maple the Lorekeeper); the OJanMeko leads the temples; clans and regional militias (Warden-Ernest, New Martinsburg, OSetho, OHakni); later a Royal Army and the OMeko's Own. Faith: Wisdom of the Ancestors; five pillars (Kachssu death, Aelssu life, Rijanssu birth, Mee OHakni suffering, …); "Kach tu ess OThea ekt domin — Death, too, is sacred." "Chussen" means roughly "community" or "diaspora". It refers to a particular community of Chunes organized on religious lines, each with its own OJanMeko and its own official version of the mythology. Name: Chussen K'IverChekt means "Community of the Chekt River" (Chussen = community, K' = "of the", Iver = river). The Chekt River flows from the Chekthead to OSetho (IverChekt player via #cafeteria, Discord msg 1561890684921708577 (R-043, closing OQ-139; not secret)).

Chunish titles: OMeko is a royal title, literally queen, king, emperor or empress. OJanMeko is the head of a Chussen's religious structure, built from O (something large or divine), Jan (an honorific for loved ones or family) and Meko (authority), so it is the "big" JanMeko. A JanMeko is a clan matriarch; a clan can have more than one (Discord amendment, request 71e3c5d7, by the IverChekt player; not secret).

Full-pass additions: The Chunes' faith, Chussenism (Discord amendment, request 4ee18e5a, by the IverChekt player; not secret), is polytheistic; its teachings are the "Wisdom of the Ancestors" (full pantheon of parent gods, child gods and deified heroes: world/religions.md, Pantheon; amendment 2117d2ea; creation myth of the Rensiir, Ciolon, the Kairians and the Isle of Chune: world/religions.md, Creation myth; amendment 110cc82b) (Aelfried goddess of life, Kachen god of death); the OJanMeko leads the temples (first Strawberries Bethany, later Mulberry Hawken). The Order of Eloise the Negotiator acts as the legislature and the Order of Maple the Lorekeeper as its check; a proposed Order of Liselotte the Unpious would run a federal army (bill EN 5). The Chunes of IverChekt came from the planet Timothea (colonised largely by Chunish prison slaves of the Republic of Motornin; their Chussen K'IverKusera there had advanced genetics); their ancestral homeworld is Ciolon (Isle of Chune; Saronins, Automorin and Avemorin empires, Republic of Motornin, Thallonites). Genetics "constructs" are artificial Chunes. In 2026 the OMeko formed the IverChektian Federation of the State Republic of Awlburn, the Chussen K'Entime and the Chussen K'IverChekt 43430532. Currency: Mekos; common language for foreigners is Greskin. The OMeko has led since the clanates united "6 years ago" 43268875.
